Here is an overview of important ACT and SAT Dates for the remainder of the 2025 school year.
Did you know that most institutions will accept either the ACT or the SAT, or both? Traditionally, the tests have been popular in different locations. For example, I grew up in Pennsylvania, so I took the ACT. I never considered taking the ACT. Now, I am based out of Bowling Green, Kentucky. The students here and in the Nashville Metro Area in Tennessee generally only take the ACT. Just as they have different names, the tests have different characteristics which can allow students to showcase their individual strengths. For example, the new computer based SAT has much shorter reading passages; however, the vocabulary tends to be at a higher level.
